Job title: Workday Financial Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Workday Financial Consultant for a future role that will involve leading the implementation and optimization of Workday Financial Management modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Procurement, and Revenue Management. The consultant will configure financial data models, manage multi-currency operations, and ensure tax and regulatory compliance. Expertise in Workday Prism Analytics, EIB integrations, and advanced reporting will be essential to deliver tailored financial solutions for upcoming projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Workday Financial Management modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Procurement, Cash Management, Revenue Management, and Financial Accounting.
- Design and configure Workday Financial Data Model (FDM) to align financial data with business requirements and reporting needs.
- Implement Workday Multi-Currency Management, ensuring the seamless handling of international transactions and currency conversions.
- Lead Workday Budgeting and Forecasting processes, helping businesses plan and manage financial budgets and projections effectively.
- Develop and configure Workday Supplier Accounts, supporting supplier management processes and payment flows.
- Implement Workday Expenses to automate expense reporting, approvals, and reimbursement workflows.
- Work on Workday Banking and Settlement, ensuring accurate bank integrations and managing settlement processes efficiently.
- Design and configure Workday Payment Processing for seamless vendor and employee payments.
- Provide expertise in Workday Tax and Regulatory Compliance, ensuring that financial processes adhere to local, regional, and international tax regulations.
- Collaborate with Workday Payroll and Core HR teams to ensure smooth integration and alignment of financial processes with HR and payroll operations.
- Utilize Workday Prism Analytics to develop advanced financial reports, dashboards, and analytics, enabling deeper insights into financial performance and trends.
- Lead Workday Integrations using Workday EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), ensuring the seamless exchange of data between Workday Financials and external systems.
- Conduct system configuration and testing to ensure accurate financial data, processes, and reports.
- Perform data migration, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure successful implementation and transition to the Workday Financial solution.
- Provide ongoing support for the optimization of Workday Financials, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system updates.
- Work closely with stakeholders to design and implement tailored solutions that address specific business challenges and requirements.
- Ensure that the implementation adheres to best practices, company standards, and industry regulations.

Required skills and experience:

- Strong experience with Workday Financial Management modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Procurement, Revenue Management, Cash Management, Financial Accounting, Supplier Accounts, and Expenses.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Financial Data Model (FDM) and Workday Budgeting and Forecasting.
- Expertise in Workday Payroll and Workday Core HR Processes, with a focus on integration between HR, Payroll, and Finance.
- Experience with Workday Prism Analytics for developing advanced financial reports, dashboards, and data analytics.
- Strong knowledge of Workday EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder) for financial integrations with external systems.
- Proficiency in Workday Multi-currency Management, Tax and Regulatory Compliance, and Payment Processing.
- Experience with Workday Banking and Settlement, ensuring accurate bank integrations and payment processes.
- In-depth understanding of Workday Procurement and supplier management processes.
- Experience with Workday Asset Management for managing the lifecycle of financial assets.
- Familiarity with Workday Revenue Management to manage and track revenue recognition processes.
- Expertise in Workday Integrations and the ability to troubleshoot and manage integration issues effectively.
- Strong knowledge of Workday Cash Management and the ability to manage cash flow, liquidity, and banking transactions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial systems and processes.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions.
