We are looking for a couple of brilliant, experienced housekeepers for our hotel apartment business. We have a fantastic team with a Housekeeping Manager, 2 x Supervisors and then a mixture of permanent and part-time cleaners.

Consisting of 37 studio apartments, we are looking for responsible Housekeepers to look after the properties (in 3 buildings right by each other) and support the front of house staff as a team.

We are definitely looking for quality cleaning over quantity cleaning and would love team members who take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a fun team of people.

A typical day would be from 10am until 5pm although flexibility is available for those who need it for school runs etc. A member of staff on a 30 hour contract would typically be expected to clean 4 or 5 one bedroom studio apartments per day as well as completing other tasks in communal areas and stock rooms to keep everything clean and organised. Quieter months are filled with deep cleaning tasks although we are generally pretty full all year round.

Day to day, the housekeeping responsibilities would be:

- Changing beds
- Cleaning living area and kitchen to a high standard
- Cleaning bathrooms
- Reporting any maintenance issues found
- Receiving linen and keeping the stock rooms in order
- Stock checking
- Some lifting of linen bags (lifting training provided if needed)

All applicants must have at least 2 years experience of cleaning domestically or in a hotel environment. We want people who want to stay with us and develop in their role and who will be part of a friendly, positive team. Our guests are lovely and we are very proud of our reputation for having clean, well maintained apartments that offer the standards of a hotel but the comforts of a high end holiday rental.

**Salary**: £11.00-£13.00 per hour
