Magisters Education have recently partnered with a primary school in Barking and Dagenham. They are looking to appoint a EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a full time basis for a January start

**About the role**
- The EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant role will be full-time Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm.
- Providing 1:1 support to child with ASD in EYFS.
- Working as part of a team to support other undiagnosed children.
- Liaising with class teacher, SENCO and other professionals to create and lead interventions personalised to the child.
- Providing feedback to the class teacher and parents on child's progress.
- Your main focus will be working with children who need help with their learning development, so ideally you will need to have some background in supporting pupils within this field.

**Job requirement**
- Experience working with EYFS aged children
- Experience of ASD, pre-verbal/non-verbal children
- Knowledge and experience of supporting sensory needs
- Able to demonstrate initiative - to work under direction when required but also able to recognise when action needs to be taken
- Experience of personal care (as toileting support involved)
- Able to communicate confidently and articulately
- Experience of using observations to evidence children's progress
- Understand how to work with pupils and build positive relationships with various pupils quickly and efficiently
- Love of education and the desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others
- Confident, proactive and enthusiastic person
- Good behaviour management skills
