Active Personnel are recruiting Van Drivers to join our client based in Sheffield.

**The Work**

Working for a huge household name, multi-drop parcel deliveries & collections, around Sheffield and surrounding area, approx 40 drops per day.

**Working hours**

Average 8-10 Hours Per day

Start time 08:30AM
- Car licence
- Previous experience preferred

**Pay**

£11.70 p/h

- Safely operate a van to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
- Communicate with customers and clients in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, receipts, and any other required documentation
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a van driver or delivery driver is preferred
- Ability to drive for extended periods of time and navigate through various locations
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures is a plus
- Commercial driving experience is a plus

**Salary**: £11.70 per hour

**Experience**:

- Delivery driver experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
