As a Light Vehicle Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the council's fleet is maintained to the highest standards.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Carry out maintenance and repairs on a wide range of light vehicles in accordance with Perth and Kinross Council (PKC) and DVSA standards.
- Ensure timely servicing, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure vehicle reliability and safety.
- Work closely with the team to meet deadlines and ensure the smooth operation of the fleet.

**Essential Requirements**
- You must be a time-served Light Vehicle Mechanic. City and Guilds Level 3 or equivalent.
- Solid experience in the repair and maintenance of light vehicles, (MOT Tester certificate is an advantage)
- A full valid UK Driving Licence is required.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

**Desirable Qualifications**
- Experience with MOT and taxi testing duties (or willingness to obtain the qualifications through training).
