We have an exciting opportunity for you to work within the Inbound area of our Distribution Centre in the role of Hygiene Operative, to ensure that the Inbound department is maintained to high standards of house-keeping in order to provide a safe working environment.

Hourly Pay
- £12.41

Contract type:

- Temporary until 11th January 2025
- Part-Time

Your working hours
- 22.5 hours per week, Sunday to Tuesday (Sunday 10:00-18:00 and Monday
- Tuesday 12.00-20.00)

What will I do as a Hygiene Operative in the Inbound team?
- Maintain designated areas of the Distribution Centre
- Dispose of all waste material generated during shifts
- Empty Industrial bins into the waste compactor
- Use a bailing machine in line with QVC's recycling policy
- Manually brush designated work areas
- Conduct routine sweeping of designated work areas using mechanical cleaning machine
- Perform emergency cleaning duties as assigned
- Prioritise workload to ensure a safe working area is maintained
- Support QVC's recycling process
- Adhere to daily housekeeping checklist
- Collection of palletised boxes
- As the role involves operating Manual Handling Equipment, all applicants must be at least 18 years old. Full MHE training will be provided

About You:

- Don't worry if you have not got any warehouse experience as you will receive full MHE training and support
- As you will use trucks, all applicants must be at least 18 years old.
- The ability to work a schedule
- The ability to operate machinery
- Must be able to communicate effectively
- The ability to utilise MHE (Ped-Ops)
- Good time management and prioritisation
- Must be a good leader of self within the team
- Adhere to QVC's health & safety policies
