Position Summary:
We are looking for a delivery and sales associate to join our team at Fitzgerald's Beds. This is a full-time role of 40 hours a week, based around our stores in Bourne, Stamford and Spalding area. Benefits include working 9am
- 5pm throughout the week, including Sundays off and an extra set day-off during the week with the option to do occasional overtime.
We are looking for a confident and charismatic individual who can deliver exceptional customer service. Utilising strong communication and interpersonal skills, you will able to demonstrate the ability to rapidly build strong, working relationships with your customer base and be happy to support the business where needed. Applicants should also be comfortable using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace as well as being eager to develop further IT skills in order to assist with our online presence.

Duties include but not limited to:

- Supervising the van drivers and assistants.
- Delivering to customers in the local area.
- Ensuring timeliness and customer satisfaction.
- Instore sales advising.
- Responsible for stocktakes.
- Loading and unloading cargo.
- Assembling furniture.

What will make you successful:

- A clean full drivers licence for a minimum of three years is essential as the position involves driving a large Luton van on a regular basis. Knowledge of the local area is a bonus.
- The job can be physically demanding, so the ideal cantidate would be able to lift and carry heavy items.
- Previous shop floor experience in the retail sector/ a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service would be an advantage.
- Strong social and communicational skills are essential.
- Punctuality and excellent time management is crucial.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Flexible and reliable, available to help the buisness where needed.
- Providing own transport to work/ being able to travel between stores when needed.
- Maintaining a positive and collaborative team culture as well as being able to work independently using your initiative is key.
