**Position**: CNC Machinist
**Location**: Stoke on Trent and Burton on Trent

**Salary**: Up to £18 per hour (Basic)
**Hours**: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Days

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Programming and Setup**: Program, set up, and operate CNC Lathe machines using Fanuc controls to produce high-quality components as per specifications.
- **Machine Operation**: Monitor machines during operation, making adjustments to speeds, feeds, and tooling as needed to ensure optimal performance and precision.
- **Quality Control**: Inspect finished products for accuracy and compliance with specifications, using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
- **Maintenance**: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on machines, ensuring they are in excellent working condition.
- **Troubleshooting**: Diagnose and resolve any machine or programming issues to minimize downtime.
- **Safety Compliance**: Follow all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Minimum 3+ years of experience in CNC Turning with expertise in Fanuc
- **Technical Skills**: Strong understanding of CNC programming, setup, and operation. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- **Attention to Detail**: Precision and focus on producing high-quality work with tight tolerances.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- **Team Player**: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
