**POSITION**: Range Maintenance/Ball Picker

**RESPONSIBLE TO**:Course Manager

**MAIN DUTIES**:
Participate in collection the Driving Range Balls and the maintenance of the Driving Range and the equipment within the Birchwood Park Golf and Country Club.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Collection of range balls using the ball picker and hand picking where weather permitting.
- Washing the range balls using the equipment/machinery provided the club
- Work to a program of routine maintenance and cleaning for all equipment adhering to the manufacturer’s guidelines.
- Prioritise work in conjunction with the Course Manager’s needs.
- Help run the day to day maintenance, operation and servicing of the Driving Range and equipment within Birchwood Park Golf and Country Club.
- Inspect operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards.
- Help maintain all equipment to the approved standard of use adhering to Health and Safety guidelines.
- Help diagnose and repair all operational faults.
- Retrieve golf balls from the edges of the fence, around the targets and balls that are plugged.
- Comply with BGL personnel policies and procedures and health and safety procedures.
- Undertake any further duties or training as requested by the Course Manager.

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. Employee is regularly required to stand and walk outdoors, work in confined spaces and be exposed to hazardous substances. This is a practical hands-on operational position.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
