Butler Rose are recruiting for a part-time (3 days) Head of Finance to join a motivated and dedicated finance team. The primary objective of this role is to provide the company with strong financial leadership, ensuring the development of a robust financial operation, continuous improvement of financial performance, and full compliance with regulations.

As the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for managing the finance team and offering financial advice and guidance to the CEO, Board, and Senior Leadership team regarding commercial and strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the Company's Financial Accounting and Reporting processes, including management reporting, audit and statutory accounts, and payroll, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee cash flow forecasting and day-to-day positions, including currency requirements and maintaining a positive relationship with our bank.
- Provide support and challenge to the commercial team, ensuring sound financial analysis and commercial management intelligence, and maintaining the integrity of company data.
- Manage the Board reporting process, fostering effective relationships and instilling confidence among business owners and investors, while supporting the CEO.
- Lead and guide the Finance team to accomplish their objectives and contribute to the overall success of the Company.
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership team to ensure a clear and well-understood strategy across the organisation, providing strong leadership for its effective implementation.
- Establish and maintain an effective risk management process, identifying and addressing all risks while safeguarding the business.
- Manage the Company's assets, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and identifying opportunities to maximise returns.
- Coordinate the annual budget process, including board approval and delivery, and conduct re-forecasting as necessary.

**Requirements**:

- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with a solid track record and comprehensive accounting knowledge.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and regulations.
- Meticulous attention to detail coupled with strategic thinking abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and organisational management capabilities.
- Experience working with the leadership team at a senior level.
- Ability and willingness to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment.
- Ideally, prior experience in the FMCG industry.
