Father Christmas

At Biddulph Grange we welcome many families during the festive period to enjoy a much-loved and traditional Christmas experience. We’re looking for someone to take on the character of Father Christmas - Christmas Helper, and to support the grotto team in bringing the magic alive.

**Hours**:every weekend in December up until Christmas, with additional weekends on the approach to Christmas. There will also be some shifts after Christmas to assist with the tidy up.

This role is an hourly paid, fixed term role. Wherever possible we aim to offer a consistent working pattern, but we’re looking for flexibility as it may be necessary for us to alter this pattern from time to time to suit the needs of the business. We’d give you as much notice of this as possible.

**Salary**:£11.64 an hour

**Duration**:Fixed Term Contract until 31st January 2025

His plant collection comes from all over the world - a visit takes you on a global journey from an Italian terrace to an Egyptian pyramid, via a Himalayan glen and Chinese-inspired garden.

What you'll be doing:You’ll be working in costume in a traditional Christmas grotto, greeting families and children and handing out gifts as part of our staff and volunteer team. You’ll be giving everyone the warmest of welcomes, so every single person can experience the magic of Christmas and have a festive visit to remember.
