An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Lecturer in Electrical Maintenance Engineering to join our Engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the next generation of Engineering professionals while playing a key role in a thriving academic community.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:
As a Lecturer in Electrical Maintenance Engineering, you will:

- Deliver and manage high-quality, inclusive teaching, learning, and assessment within the field of Electrical Maintenance Engineering.
- Provide both practical and theoretical instruction in key areas, such as Electrical Maintenance Engineering.
- Support students' academic and personal development, empowering them to reach their full potential.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the learning experience and address the diverse needs of all students.
- Contribute to student recruitment, retention, achievement, and progression by offering personalised guidance and support.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Hold a teaching qualification or are willing to work towards achieving one**
- Have at least a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- Hold GCSEs at Grade C / Level 4 or above in English and Mathematics, or equivalent qualifications.
- Ideally have current knowledge and/or experience in teaching one or more areas of Electrical Maintenance Engineering.
- Demonstrate an awareness of potential issues within the sector that could affect curriculum delivery.
- Have current knowledge and/or experience of career opportunities in the sector for learners aged 16-18 and 19+.

The salary progression criteria beyond point 11 of the Lecturer scale will be based on you achieving and maintaining, on an annual basis, the Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) & QTS. To progress beyond point 14 of the Lecturer salary scale, you will be expected to achieve and maintain the Advanced Teacher Status (ATS)._
