**Overview**:We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Receptionist with Housekeeping knowledge to join our small but dynamic team at Hocus Pocus Tiny hotel in York.

**Position details**

**Hours**: 16h per week across 5 days (Wednesday to Sunday). 1 day (4 hours) in Housekeeping on site, + 4 days (3 hours each) focused on reception/administration, from remote

**Schedule**:One weekend off per month on rotation

**Pay**: Monthly: £12,21 per hour for housekeeping duties / £12.50 for reception duties

Start date: Training begins on the 15th of September, official job start date is the 22nd of September

**Duties**
- Answering phone calls with professional phone etiquette and assist with inquiries as needed (from hotel mobile phone from home or hotel 8am-6pm)
- Handling bookings and payments via our channel manager system
- Checking rooms are ready and up to standard for the coming guests and assisting with housekeeping tasks (on site)
- One dedicated housekeeping shift per week

**Requirements**:

- Experience in hospitality and hotel operations
- An individual who is polite, professional and adaptable to our business model
- An individual who is proactive, receptive and creative in problem-solving
- An individual who is positive-minded and customers-focused
- Somebody comfortable balancing reception with housekeeping duties

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £12.21-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
