**Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor**

**Location: Elsenham, Bishop Stortford**

**Specialising in Airport and NHS Projects (preferred experience but not essential)**

Are you a seasoned Quantity Surveyor looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects in the aviation and healthcare sectors? My client is a leading construction firm based in Elsenham, Bishop's Stortford. They specialise in delivering excellence across a spectrum of services, including demolition, fit out, design & build, civil engineering, and facility management and maintenance. This is a primarily office-based role that offers a unique chance to be an integral part of their diverse and dynamic team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all aspects of quantity surveying, from cost estimation to contract administration, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Work closely with project teams to develop and manage project budgets, providing insights into cost control measures.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and financial status, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and timeline constraints.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, negotiating agreements and monitoring performance to meet project objectives.
- Provide expert advice on contractual matters, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, promoting transparency and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a strong background in Airport and NHS projects (preferred)
- Thorough understanding of demolition, fit out, design & build, civil engineering, and facility management and maintenance processes (preferred)
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in relevant software and tools for quantity surveying.

**Salary**:

- Salary negotiable upon experience (£50,000 - £100,000 per annum).
