**Key Responsibilities of role:

- Implement and contribute to the OPC strategy, working with the management team of the UK entity to translate such strategy into the plan and policies of Commercial Finance
- Working with the entity management team contribute to the strategy to ensure OPC is firmly set within the business vision and day to day activities of the entity
- Ensure compliance with defined policies by developing and managing governance frameworks and undertaking all actions necessary to ensure such compliance
- Conduct and co-ordinate operational risk assessments and promote operational risk awareness within the company, and where necessary propose mitigating actions where risks are identified monitoring for their implementation
- Prepare and participate in operational risk related committees, ensuring reporting is made in a clear and structured manner and monitor follow up
- Monitor and record incidents and potential incidents of operational risk. Ensure reporting of such incidents is aligned for both Group and management of the business
- To conduct monthly ICC(Internal Control Committee)
- Help in managing internal projects.
- Execute the control activities as outlined in the Local Control

**Compliance Obligations**:

- Setting the tone of Compliance from the top.
- Attendance at relevant local Compliance Committees and meetings.
- Performance of relevant LOD1 controls linked to Compliance.
- Management of the Procedure Register.
- Vigilance in everyday processes related to detecting and escalating unusual activity.
- Completion of assigned Compliance training courses in line with Group deadlines.
- Adherence to all relevant Compliance policies and procedures applicable to the Entity.

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- **Essential**:

- Business degree
- Ability to work in full autonomy with a high degree of credibility
- Ability to undertake complex risk assessments and present results of such to senior management
- Excellent command of English, written and spoken
- Previous experience in compliance and OPC
- **Preferable**:

- Behavioral - Good Team player
- Other languages like French / Dutch are an asset
- Technical -experience and knowledge in the Receivables / Corporate Banking Market, with strong experience in Risk area.
