Builder / Groundworker

**Duties**
- Assist in the preparation of sites for construction or groundworks projects.
- Carry out excavation work, including digging trenches and foundations.
- Operate hand tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Lay drainage pipes, and other groundwork materials.
- Able to build block & brickwork to a high standard.
- read plans & set out confidently.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in building & groundworks.
- Ability to operate basic machinery and tools safely.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude.
- clean & presentable is a must.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Full UK licence & own transport. Preferably a van.
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions on site.
- Willing to travel around Brighton & surrounding areas.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary, Temp to perm, Freelance
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: £22.50-£30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
