Team Leader

**Description**:
The Team Leader is a key role within an innovative mental wellbeing service based in Southwark. You will support the Service Manager to develop the service and be responsible for the line management of the Peer Support, Volunteer & Workshop Coordinator Programmes, including maintaining oversight of Quality of Support, Monitoring Systems, and Expenditure on the Coordinator Programmes, room hire and events.
Support the Service Manager in delivery of monthly and quarterly performance and quality reports The role is based at the Southwark Wellbeing Hub, 30 hours per week (Monday-Friday) with the potential to increase to full-time.
This is a 30 hour part time post.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide supervision, guidance and support to staff to help them to carry out their roles effectively to deliver a safe, welcoming and quality support service.
- Overseeing Service Communications Strategy - Developing ‘first tier’ Support i.e. Signposting via Helpline and Pop Ups
- Planning service rotas with Deputy Manager for Helpline, Drop-in, Pop-up & Office Cover
- Coordination of Pop-up arrangements / venues
- Coordinating Student Placement - Regular Partnership Work & Overseeing Promotion Strategy (including champions initiative)
- Cover Deputy Manager when absent Assist with the general running of the service including: - Supervising Drop Ins, Pop Ups, Helpline volunteers
- Staff wellbeing initiatives - Safeguarding Escalations & other service procedures
- Client allocations & support plans
- ‘On call’ duty for helpline
- Triage referrals
- Lead for Service User Leadership Communication, building & maintaining appropriate relationships - Maintain appropriate links with individuals’ mental health workers and other professionals and organisations involved in their care
- Be an expert navigator of local communities, continually building and sustaining relationships and partnerships with agencies and professionals, promoting the service
- Extend the range of community opportunities for these individuals by supporting community resources to improve accessibility and tackling mental health stigma Information/Record Keeping & IT - Work with IT equipment and systems to ensure accurate and timely recording of those using the service working within principles of GDPR
- Maintain and build upon good working knowledge of IT, and to take full advantage of opportunities to use IT to progress the services we offer
- Support the maintenance of a database of community resources, used by staff and people using the service to identify and access a range of opportunities to promote wellbeing and independence
