Full time role, Salary £26,000 - £28,000 per year dependent upon experience.

The Accounts and Payroll Administrator will be responsible for the administration of the Payroll function for the company and its 200 employees and will also have responsibility for purchase and sales invoice entry and query resolution.The role will reportto the Executive Chairman and Finance Director.

The role will be based in our small and friendly team at our Wilmslow HQ, and will is a full-time role, with working days being Monday to Friday.

**This role will cover a wide and varied range of duties including**:

- The accurate and timely completion of the monthly payroll for 200 employees.
- Completing payroll system administration and updating personnel records.
- Supporting with recruitment and documentation of new starter processes.
- Reviewing branch payroll submissions for accuracy.
- Managing all employee payroll, tax and other pay or benefit related queries.
- Administering all starters and leavers.
- RTI submissions to HMRC.
- Administering pension schemes and ensuring all new starters are auto-enrolled.
- Producing auto-enrolment letters each month for new joiners to the pension scheme.
- Purchase and sales invoice coding (nominal and department) and entry into the accounting system.
- Fielding and resolving queries relating to purchase invoices, sales invoices and payroll.

**Our ideal Accounts and Payroll Administrator has the following attributes**:

- UK payroll experience including payroll administration.
- Previous experience of issuing contracts of employment and new starter documentation.
- Experience of payroll calculation, tax codes and benefits in kind.
- Knowledge of working with an accounting system and invoice entry.
- Organised and able to work on own initiative.
- Knowledge of UK HMRC reporting requirements.
- Educated to GCSE or equivalent in English and Mathematics
