**JOB - Health, Safety & Environmental Manager / HSE Manager**
**LOCATION - Oxfordshire (Hybrid)**
**TERM - Permanent**
**SALARY - Competitive dependent on experience**
My client are looking for an experienced HSE Manager on a full-time basis in the Oxfordshire area. They are looking for someone to ensure that all HSE compliance is in line with the current legislation and provide support and guidance with any upcoming challengesor risks.**The HSE Manager will ideally have the following attributes**:

- Previous experience working in a similar Health & Safety role
- Previous experience working in a similar manufacturing / engineering environment
- NEBOSH certificate or Diploma qualification ideally
- IOSH membership
- Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
- Personable and can build relationships well

**The HSE Manager role will involve**:

- Providing support and advice to all departments when it comes to Health and Safety
- Advising on compliance with all applicable health, safety and environmental legislation
- Establishing management programmes, monitoring compliance and reporting on progress to the Management teams
- Identifying where HS&E training is needed
- Developing, implementing, and reporting on systems for conducting workplace inspections and internal audits
- Reporting and investigating safety and environmental events in a timely manner
