Purchase Ledger Clerk

Monday -Friday 08:30 - 17:00
Up to £24,240
**Main Purpose**
To support the accounts function in providing a high standard of administrative support. Responsible for contributing to maintaining an efficient and accurate finance function within a business.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
**Accounts Payable**
Purchase Ledger Invoice Processing Purchase Credit Notes/Supplier Returns Supplier Statement Reconciliations Supplier Invoice Queries
Purchase Order & GRNI Period End Review
Assist with year end and provision of audit data and documentation
**Knowledge & Experience**
- 2 years prior experience in Accounts Payable
- Strong IT skills especially - intermediate excelknowledge
- Can operate within the relevant financial guidelines and legislation and understand risk to the business ofnon-compliance
**Personal Attributes**
- A self-starter with a positive, enthusiastic 'can do’ self-motivated attitude
- Trustworthy, Confident andfriendly
- Ability to prioritise workload; be comfortable dealing with staff at all levels
- An eye for detail and dedication to accuracy, coupled withthe keenness to meetdeadlines
