C.L. Jones is a family run Timber & Builders Merchant trading since 1982 with 7 branches across North Wales, in Gwynedd, Anglesey and Conwy.

We are now expanding our team and seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Trade Counter Assistants at our Kinmel Bay branch.

We offer both full-time and part-time positions for this role. Our full-time position working hours are Monday-Friday from 7.30am to 5pm, including some Saturday shifts from 8am to 12pm. For the part-time option, we provide flexibility with the hours to suit your schedule and our business needs.

**About the role**

As a Trade Counter Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting our customers with their building material requirements and providing exceptional service. Whether it's offering product advice, processing orders, or managing stock levels, your expertise and enthusiasm will contribute to a seamless customer experience.

**The successful applicant will have;**
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanour
- Experience of working to sales targets
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in the building and trades industry, with some product and / or sales knowledge would be an advantage

**Duties will include;**
- Servicing customers over a busy trade counter
- Dealing with and resolving any customer queries
- Stock control (ordering stock, booking goods in & goods out, stocktaking)
- Building and maintaining excellent customer relationships to encourage repeat business
