**Are you thinking about a career as a PE Teacher? Do you think you would be suited to a school environment?**

AK Teaching are looking to recruit a Sports Coach to work within one of our partner schools based in Sheffield. The role is an immediate start and will initially start on a temporary basis, with an intention for the role to develop into a permanent position.

**This role is ideal for future PE Teachers** You will be supervising and providing support to the students within the classroom, ensuring they complete the work and instructions that will be pre-planned and set by the class teacher. Whilst we can't always guarantee PE cover, you will gain valuable experience in the classroom that will provide you with the tools ready for your Teacher Training.

**Things to consider**:

- Are you a graduate who is looking to become a PE Teacher?
- Are you thinking about pursuing a PGCE/SCITT or Graduate Teaching Programme?
- Are you looking to start your journey towards achieving Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Are you a Multi-Sports Coach who would like to work in a school or academy setting?
- Are you a Youth worker, running children’s clubs and activities?
- Do you currently work as a Cover Supervisor and would like additional work?

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working as a coach or official in any sport setting is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students
- Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to maintain order and discipline in the classroom.
- Passionate about working with children
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work
