Transport Coordinator

Techxi is a specialist ground transportation company that provides specialist transport, ride hailing services via an app and traditional taxi booking services across the South West & Wales. We are an ambitious and growing company and we are looking for a person that matches our aspirations.

The transport co-ordinator will play a crucial role in allowing us to achieve our vision and continue our rapid trajectory.

**What will I be doing day to day?**

The transport team is critical in ensuring we supply our services to the customer and communication is key. This job will suit an effective communicator that has a strong customer service focus and enjoys dealing with people from all backgrounds.

Whilst answering the phone is a requirement of this role, this is not a traditional call centre role, and you will be a vital link between our customers, drivers and management team. The best analogy for this role would be air traffic control, but on the ground. You will spend a large proportion of your time managing the supply and demand for drivers, monitoring the status of bookings and in quiet times assisting the management team to continually improve the service.

This role suits someone that is highly organised, thinks logically and remains calm under pressure. No two days are the same so if you are a dynamic person this role will be rewarding for you.

**Who this role will suit**

To undertake this role effectively multi-tasking is an absolute must. If you are logical, highly organised and have a genuine interest in continuous improvement you will be highly successful at this role. Being self-motivated and proactive will also be advantageous. Being comfortable with IT is a requirement but our system is bespoke and full training will be provided.
