**What part will you play in our Team?**

The **Apprentice Plant Fitter **working for Jarvie Plant Ltd will be working towards a SCQF Level 6 in Plant Maintenance.

During the 4-year period of the Apprenticeship, the company will undertake to instruct, train or place the apprentice under the supervision of a fully qualified and/or experienced **Plant Fitter** to allow them to acquire the necessary skills and techniques.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Complete jobs allocated by workshop supervisor and finish of outstanding jobs from previous day.
- To assist in the service, repair, and maintenance of all Jarvie Plant equipment.
- Complete job sheets and any other necessary paperwork with supervisor authority.
- Assist with valeting machines and vehicles when necessary.
- Ensure that your working environment is clean, tidy and safe at all times.
- Seek assistance and raise any issues to the workshop supervisor or manager.
- You will learn the skills required to assist the Fitters to produce accurate documentation and records of plant machinery maintenance, repairs and safety checks
