Job Overview:
As an Event Assistant Apprentice, you will play a vital role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of events, as well as assisting with marketing efforts and data entry tasks. You will have the chance to shadow colleagues across different departments, learn in a hands-on environment, and receive structured training through workshops and sessions conducted by the National College Creative Industries. This apprenticeship will provide you with the foundation to build a successful career in the events and creative industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in Projects: Collaborate with the team to support various event projects, contributing to event planning, logistics, and execution.
- Event Support: Assist in the setup and teardown of AV equipment for events, ensuring smooth operations and excellent client experiences.
- Data Entry: Accurately input and manage event-related data, maintaining organised records for future reference.
Key Apprenticeship Responsibilities:
- Learning and Development: Participate in workshops and 1:1 training sessions delivered by the National College Creative Industries to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field.
- Portfolio Preparation: Work closely with your industry practitioner (tutor) to compile a portfolio showcasing your achievements, which will contribute to your Professional Discussion at the End Point Assessment.
- Shadowing Colleagues: Gain insights into various departments within the company by shadowing experienced team members, learning from their expertise.
**Requirements**:
- Must have a valid driver's licence and access to a car, as our location is only accessible by car.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiasm to learn and contribute to a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Flexibility to attend off-the-job training sessions, workshops, and 1:1 sessions as required.
- Passion for events, AV technology, and the creative industries.
