We have an exciting opportunity that has arisen within our Deputyship team. We are looking for an Appointee/Deputyship Officer to provide support to individuals who have been assessed under the Mental Capacity Act to lack the capacity to manage their own finances. The Deputyship Officer role is both challenging and rewarding.

The post holder will manage their own caseload which includes controlling the day-to-day finances and properties for people for whom the Council has been appointed Deputy for Property and Affairs or Corporate Appointee.

A DBS ‘Disclosure and Barring Service’ check for regulated activity (formerly known as CRB) and the Adults’ Barred List checks will be required for this role.
