**Salary**:£28,168 - £39,244 per annum, pro rata (Academic Grade 4 - 13) (Dependant on skills, qualifications and experience)**

**Job Type: Permanent, Part Time 22.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year**

**Wiltshire College & University Centre** have an exciting opportunity for a **Lecturer in Travel & Tourism**to join our team.

**Lecturer in Travel & Tourism - The Role**:
In this role, you will:

- Teach across a range of Travel & Tourism courses, including units such as customer service, aviation operations, sustainable tourism, events, and global destinations.
- Create dynamic, interactive lessons that reflect current industry trends and employer expectations.
- Support learners in developing professional and personal skills that prepare them for successful careers.
- Take part in curriculum development, student enrichment activities, and community or industry partnerships.

**Lecturer in Travel & Tourism - Key Responsibilities**:

- Foster a stimulating learning environment that promotes student engagement and success.
- Provide academic and pastoral support to students to ensure their holistic development.
- Contribute to the design and assessment of course modules, ensuring alignment with industry standards and educational goals.
- Actively participate in departmental meetings, committees, and other college-wide initiatives.

**Lecturer in Travel & Tourism - You**
- A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Travel & Tourism or a related field.
- Previous teaching experience in higher education or vocational training settings preferred.
- A teaching qualification (or a willingness to work towards one).
- Industry experience and/or recognised professional qualifications would be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
- Enthusiasm for innovation in teaching methods and curriculum development.
