Our client is an award-winning boutique strategic innovation and insight consultancy looking for a Strategy Director to join the team.

This consultancy has a real interest in cultural insights and their work bridges the intersection between innovation, brand strategy and insight. They work cross-sector for some of the biggest global clients around and the work is really varied, from innovationand brand strategy, to comms development and consumer understanding.

To provide more information on their key pillars of brand strategy, comms and innovation:

- **Brand strategy** covers everything from consumer understanding work, segmentation, portfolio/architecture strategy, positioning, among other things.
- **Communications** is everything advertising - upstream to execution and some media strategy work. They help identify powerful consumer insights, help develop territories, they've selected agencies from pitches for clients, and run lots ofcreative development work.
- **Innovation** is similarly broad - from futures work and scenario mapping, all the way through to helping develop product briefs.

Methodology-wise, they're fairly approach agnostic, but they primarily work with primary research: interviews, groups, ethnography in all manner of guises. They collaborate with quant and data science partners, and they do a fair bit of semiotics work too.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Experience with brand strategy, innovation or insight from an agency environment
- Experience carrying out qualitative insight
- Ideally international project experience
- Languages or cultural insights experience would be beneficial
