- bridging the gap between bridal wear and luxury fashion, Rosie Etienne has become the go to brand worldwide for fashion forward bridal occasion and evening wear.

Synonymous with high quality couture techniques, with refined corsetry and unique embellishments, Rosie Etienne has become an international presence in the bridal and evening market, focusing on creating looks for occasions such as engagement parties, bridal showers and reception dresses.

We continue to see month on month - year on year growth, excelling in the UK and in particular the international market.

Rosie Etienne focuses on releasing small exclusive collections, focusing on quality over quantity at all times.

We aim to experiment with new silhouettes, whilst staying true to the brand ethos, of ensuring women feel confident and empowered, as they celebrate their special moments in life.

**OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES**
- You will collaborate directly with the founder to advance their creative vision, transforming it into unique and innovative designs
- Research and maintain knowledge of relevant trends and consumer insights to offer further inspiration for new designs
- Create original design drapes and sketches, following the Founders’ briefs
- As the sole designer, you will have the exciting opportunity to sculpt the design aesthetics of the brand moving forward, and guide the design to even higher acclaim
- Working directly with the Pattern Cutter and Sample Maker, you will lead the team and ensure all projects are kept on track
- You will be a person who thinks outside of the traditional box whilst understanding the commercial needs of the business to support the growth of the company
- Prepare and present design concepts, sketches, and technical specifications to the Founder, showcasing your ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Working with the Pattern Cutter to create detailed tech packs for sampling and production
- Oversee the creation of samples and prototypes, offering valuable guidance and feedback while collaborating closely with the Pattern Cutter and Sample Maker
- Responsible for fit sessions and assessment samples to resolve any product development or quality issues
- Conduct thorough quality checks on samples to ensure they meet standards for fit, construction, and design mastery
- Analyse sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to make informed design decisions and identify opportunities for improvement or new design directions.
- Analyse returns data and re work designs where needed

**Requirements**:
**ABOUT YOU**
- You are a talented Designer with at least 5 years of design experience within premium or luxury women’s fashion. We do not require you to have experience in bridal wear because we are not traditional bridal wear in this sense, experience in luxury, high end fashion will suffice
- A proven track record of creating designs which attract customer engagement and demand, you will have strong commercial awareness and ability to design to price point
- Ability to contribute creative design ideas with a high level of skill in sketching, technical drawing and draping
- Enjoy working in a small team, where quality is valued over quantity
- Self motivated with good time management, able to manage own workload without prompts.
- Enjoy being hands on, working directly with the Pattern Cutter and Sample Maker to create high quality designs
- You must have experience in corsetry, structured designs as well as working with satins and silks, bias cuts. Your past experience must include both structure and draping techniques

Although we are an international brand with significant growth, we genuinely focus on quality over quantity. We do not create designs to fulfil a quota of pieces in a collection, we work with intent, creating pieces we know will be loved by our following.

Pay is 50-55k based on experience

Pay: £50,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
