ControlFreq assemble electronic systems for door entry, access control & remote alarm signalling.

**Job description**

This role is based in our spacious workshop in central Worthing.

It involves primarily assembling, testing & packaging products, using fabricated parts and electronic components, before stocking on the shelf ready for sale.

Identifying products to be ordered in or assembled to maintain required stock levels will be the ultimate responsibility of this autonomous role.

Salary is dependent on experience however intended to flex with the person as they become more proficient in the role, taking on more tasks and responsibilities.

**Main goals**
- Support senior technicians by pre-preparing components for product builds.
- Keep the workshop and work benches tidy
- Contribute to problem-solving tasks with a view to 'step up'
- Manage stock levels and assemble products as required
- Stocktake weekly to ensure components are always available
- Report to Business Manager to order in required components

Within these parameters we are keen that you have the opportunity to use and develop any relevant skills and interests.

For example, if you have design expertise, marketing experience or are interested in software / app / web / product development we would like to hear about that. You will be supported and supervised throughout but expected often to work independently, to organise your own schedule and priorities and work based on weekly meetings to agree on directions.

**Essential**
- Able to confidently work with PC's
- Bias towards electronics hardware especially with software skills advantageous
- Hands-on work (this is NOT an office role, it’s a workshop position)
- Ability to use hand tools safely without assistance
- Relevant transferable skills from previous roles
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills, able to prioritise and work on different projects
- Able to and enjoy working independently, desire to learn, willingness to ‘pitch in’
- Punctual and reliable

**Desirable**

Software development skills at any level
Social media / basic marketing skills
