Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom TEC PARTNERS LIMITED Full time

**Principal Biomedical Electronics Engineer**

You'll be working closely with multidisciplinary talented teams of scientists and engineers. The variety of projects will captivate and retain your interest.

With the support of your project team, you'll pursue innovative solutions to highly technical problems. It's about sharing your technical insights and drawing on those of your colleagues - whether you're defining a new system architecture, reviewing designs,or mentoring colleagues.

You'll also get to hone your skills in project leadership through new product development programs. This means you'll be the main point of contact between the client and the technical team. It'll involve regular pivoting between contrasting tasks - frompresenting to key client stakeholders through to supporting junior colleagues in the lab.

This is a fantastically agile role that operates beyond the realm of traditional Biomedical engineering.

**What are we looking for?**

You may have made significant technical or scientific innovations in the design and development of active embedded neurostimulation implants. Or, you may be familiar with the design of Implantable Pulse Generators (IPG's). If you have a track record of creatingand delivering development programs, from initial conception and prototyping, through to transfer to manufacture, then you'll certainly be a good bet for this role.

If you have experience with the above, it's also likely you're familiar with the regulatory pathways. Although this isn't a role for a regulatory specialist, your experience of working within Class III Medical Device frameworks will prove invaluable.

To excel in this role, it's likely you'll be building on prior experience of research and development in the electronic aspects of biomedical engineering. You might have gained this insight into how electronic engineering interfaces with the body via a PhDor commercial research.

It's also important to note that this role suits a commercially aware mindset. You'll find opportunities to use your market insight to uncover and nurture valuable new commercial prospects for future projects.

**What's in it for you?**

You'll already have a flavour for the role from the above overview, but this is a role that comes with an attractive package, including the benefits below:

- Annual profit-related bonus
- Employer pension contribution of 12% of pensionable pay
- Private medical insurance for employees and dependants
- Free lunch and all-day refreshments
- Life insurance worth 6x salary
- 25 days holiday (excluding bank holidays)
- Enhanced maternity and paternity leave, with the option to return part-time for a year
- Electric car leasing scheme
- Cycle to work scheme
- Season ticket loan
- Local sports facilities and theatre discounts and memberships
- A comprehensive relocation package is also available, if applicable
