SXL Ltd are a development, building & maintenance company providing new & repairs across all sectors of the industry, residential, office, retail. We have just signed deal with one of our clients to provide a cable installation into mainly residential properties throughout the UK phase one being London & it’s suburb’s, surrounding counties to both the private and public sector.
Training will be given also on our site surveying property management systems.
As a successful Housing Surveyor, your duties will be:
- Undertake site inspections and look at the access routes required to allow the cable install, ensure compliance with all relevant Health and
Safety regulations and guidance, including CDM, Control of Asbestos regulations etc
- Provide appropriate professional expertise in all aspects of building surveying and asset management, including the assessment of long-term condition and recommending appropriate maintenance strategies
- Make accurate records of all inspections using the department’s information management system. To be considered, you will have the following knowledge/experience:
- Experience as a housing surveyor is an advantage but not essential Experience of working in a physical, social and economic regeneration setting with a understanding of the challenges that presents.
- Inspection of works carried out by contractors that works have be done to specification provided and that workmanship is of a good standard & an ability to report these works electronically via phone & tablet.
- level of knowledge of building construction, standards, and legislation is an advantage.
Essential:
**Ability and presence to be proactive and work on own initiative, with limited supervision, and be able to manage their diary delivering including quality reporting, value and progress with excellent organisational skills.**
- Excellent standards of customer care and the ability to deliver accurate and clear communications in writing, face to face or by telephone
- Good IT skills,
- Successful track record of delivering building surveying services, and management of substantial work programmes in a similar environment.
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise a heavy workload, whilst working on a mobile basis, and keep excellent records
- The salary will be based on experience and ability there is a fantastic bonus system in place to compliment the basic salary.

**Salary**: £21,500.00-£54,380.08 per year
