We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team. As a 7.5 Tonne Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations in a timely and efficient manner. This is a great opportunity for someone with commercial driving experience who enjoys being on the road.
Roles
- Safely and efficiently operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle to deliver goods to designated locations
- Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment
- Plan routes and navigate to ensure timely deliveries
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations
- Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
- Communicate effectively with customers and provide excellent customer service
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Valid driver's license with the appropriate category for operating a 7.5-tonne vehicle
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with experience driving flatbed trucks
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to navigate using GPS or maps
- Strong time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues
- Ability to lift heavy items when loading and unloading
**Salary**: £31,310.00 per year
