Cartwright Vehicle Conversions is a conversion manufacturer based in Belton, near Scunthorpe, that offers a wide range of converted vehicles for the commercial market, mobility, ambulance, police, temperature control, and security sectors.

The Buyer is a new role, part of the supply Chain Management Team, focussing on the placing of purchase orders to ensure the right materials are available at the right time. The role covers all aspects of Purchasing from the transactional processing through to supplier management and approval.

**Specific Responsibilities**:

- Working closely with internal teams to determine product requirements / specifications.
- Obtaining quotations and negotiating with Suppliers.
- Working with the Parts team to ensure stock levels are accurately monitored and replenishment programs are adhered to.
- Creating purchase orders and maintaining the outstanding purchase order system.
- Expediting deliveries to ensure Supply OTiF performance.
- Maintaining regular communication with other departments.
- Reporting and progressing any Supplier quality non-conformances including delivery discrepancies.
- Stock allocation and updating works orders.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Strong problem solving and decision-making capability.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to daily challenges.
- A team player approach.

**The working hours are between 8:00am and 5:00pm Monday to Thursday and 8:00am and 2:30pm on Friday with 30 minutes for lunch.**
