Stock Control/materials Scheduling

We have an opportunity for an individual to begin their buying career within our Procurement team.
The role holder will be required to assist the Procurement department with Stock Control, Materials Scheduling this will also include administrative support for the Procurement team.
Training and development opportunities are available.
Accountabilities
- Act as admin support for the Procurement Team.
- Checking stock levels regularly. - Updating stock information on the computer system.
- Ensure all required materials are planned and called off in accordance with the required programme.
- Liaise with materials suppliers to achieve required delivery date, taking lead times into consideration.
- Liaise with Project Buyer to identify materials requisitions.
- Prepare delivery schedules and ensure these are included within orders.
- Coordinate with operations, engineering, purchasing and quality to attain production goals.

Liaising with suppliers Experience of health, safety and environmental requirements on site.

- Track production material volumes & usage trends
- Balance material demands against MOQs and stock levels
