**We Are Hiring: Bank Support Worker**
We are currently looking for **1 Bank Support Worker** to join our experienced and committed team.
Our Supported Living Service provides on-site support for up to 13 male residents with mental health needs, supporting their rehabilitation and preparation for independent living. The site is easily accessible via bus, train, and London Underground, and includes on-site parking.
**What You’ll Do**:
Through personalised care and structured daily activities, you will support service users to develop the skills needed to live more independently, including:
- Daily living and budgeting skills
- Healthy eating and exercise habits
- Engaging with education, work and the wider community
- Developing social skills and risk awareness
- Achieving long-term independence goals
**Responsibilities include**:
- Providing regular key work sessions and updating support plans
- Carrying out risk assessments
- Promoting resident choice and independence
- Advocating and liaising with external partners
- Responding to individual needs creatively and effectively
**Criteria**:
- Minimum **2 years’ experience** working with mental health clients
- Previous experience in **residential care**:
- Minimum **Level 2 in Health and Social Care**:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident working independently and using initiative
- Competent in using Apple and Google Drive
**Shift Availability & Rota**:
This is a **Bank (as-needed) position** to cover **open shifts**, typically for **annual leave, sickness, or other staff absences**.
- Shifts are usually shared **3-4 weeks in advance**, giving you ample notice.
- However, **last-minute calls** may occasionally be necessary to ensure continuity of care.
- We aim to be as flexible and supportive as possible when allocating shifts.
