A family based in St. John’s Wood, NW8, is looking for a nanny housekeeper to care for their two young children (ages 1 and 3) in shared care with the mother. The position starts from December-January, with hours from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday. This role is based on a 40-hour contract per week, with a 20% cleaning responsibility and 80% childcare duties.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide attentive and nurturing care to the children, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times.
- Prepare and serve meals for the children, respecting their dietary needs and family preferences (Kosher).
- Keep spaces tidy after each activity or meal (kitchen, playroom, children’s bedrooms).
- Prepare the children’s belongings for the next day (clothes, bags, childcare items).
- Engage in daily routines and developmental activities (educational games, reading, creative play, outings).
- Follow the family’s guidelines on discipline and routines.
- Travel with the family is optional.

**Work Environment**:

- Proven experience with young children and must be confident with two children.
- Excellent command of English.
- Reliable, caring, proactive, with strong organisational skills and responsibility.
- Team player with the ability to work harmoniously with the mother and other household staff.
- Flexibility to work additional hours during school holidays.

**Conditions**:

- Salary: £16-£17 net per hour around £890 gross per week.
- Contract based on 40 hours per week.
- Working in shared care with the mother and sole charge of the children.
