**D365 Funtional Consultant - SCM** Altum Consulting, London, United Kingdom (Hybrid) **Hybrid Opportunity - Based in Milton Keynes (ad hoc travel to office)** **£70,000 - £75,000 + company benefits** Altum Consulting are partnering with a huge food & beverage business who are in the process of one of the largest deployments of D365 F&O globally. This technology deployment underpins a business wide transformation programme which will allow the organisationto create operational efficiencies across all business units, create best in class processes, ways of working, automate and reduce manual activity to maximise people potential. This is key strategic hire into their Global Centre of Excellence (CoE) for D365. The "D365 Functional Consultant - SCM" will play an internal client-facing role, working with regional based partners and a team of highly skilled consultants. Your responsibilitywill be to identify the business needs of clients and stakeholders, and to determine solutions to business problems. As a translator between the users and the IT group, you elicit, analyse, validate and document business, organizational and/or operationalrequirements. **Responsibilities**: - Participate in Dynamics 365 For Operations implementations throughout all project stages including analysis, design, development, test, and operation - Understand, and receive training on Global D365 Template, and to implement for all Sites - Discover client's requirements in operational areas through analysis and design workshops - Work with the development team to create customization specifications for any additional feature functions or data migration requirements - Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and provide documentation - Be able to perform training, support to Site users - To work with Business Project Manager, IT Project Manager, and users, to assist in collection, upload, validation of master data, opening balances, during the various phase of the project. - Provide functional support to business users on ERP processes, including but not limited to troubleshooting, data analysis, process analysis. Act as a relay for the remote IT support team. **Key accountabilities** - Responsible for gathering and preparing of essential business processes based test script, conducting unit testing, acceptance testing (UAT), parallel run, training of customer resources for successful usage and implementation Dynamics 365 For Operations. - Assists in requirements gathering, clarification using a variety of basic techniques by interviews, surveys, and historical data, data modelling - Assists in the design specifications through analysing the current system design and proposed changes to the design - Engages with business owners from affected business areas to understand current processes and document business requirements by assisting with the creation of business process decomposition diagrams and documenting business requirements - Collaborates with stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure a comprehensive set of requirements, aligned to business objectives, gaining full understanding of current and future state business processes - Demonstrates experience in use of the prescribed Microsoft Dynamics implementation methodology, Sure Step; understands the key activities and deliverables for the client engagement and internal projects. - Determine the specifications that require setup and prepare the project documentation of all setup parameters - Engage with Global IT ERP Transformation team to design proper approach (functional and technical) in answering business requirements **To succeed in this role, you should have** - Strong leadership and communication skills - Fluent in English is a must - Analytical and conceptual expertise - Understanding and experience of the Advanced Warehouse Module - Ability to communicate to both non-technical and technical audience - Communication of implementation status to Global Project Team - Knowledge of business processes - Documentation, analysis and business requirements management techniques - Perception and evaluation of risk is an asset - Testing, verification and validation techniques - Team player.
