You’ll become an invaluable part of our residents’ daily lives when you join Bridge House Care Home in Abingdon as our Lifestyle and Bistro Assistant. You’ll be responsible for daily activities to accommodate our residents’ who all have different interestsand hobbies. This is a dual role, so you will also support the smooth set up and running of our bistro.

**Your role**

As our Lifestyle and Bistro Assistant you will help plan and organise a whole variety of activities for our residents to create a fun and interesting environment for them. You will also offer comfort and company on a one-to-one basis for any residents unableto undertake the activities. You will work in our bistro preparing food and when residents visit, you will ensure they are welcomed and catered for as per their requests.

Here’s some other important things you need to know:

- You must be alert at all times to our residents’ physical and mental well being
- You will help maintain our high standards ensuring our bistro is always clean and safe
- You will need to understand and comply with statutory and legal requirements such as HACCP, Health & Safety, COSHH and Environmental Health
