Premier Engineering has engaged with a key client and a market leader within Heavy Engineering, Lifting Equipment & Haulage solutions based near Redditch, Worcestershire. Due to an increase in new projects and team growth, a new opportunity has arisen for aProject Engineer to join on a permanent basis. This role could also be based from Stoke-on-Trent if required.
**Job description**
Our engineering team is at the heart of our business and is critical to its continued success. As a Project Engineer you will be responsible for designing innovative, safe and cost-effective solutions for our clients.
The business has grown to be one of the largest and most successful heavy lift and specialist transport companies in the UK. We specialise in global project cargo logistics, with a dedicated factory to foundation service for the UK’s energy sectors and heavyindustries. Our project engineers and project managers work closely with customers to understand their individual challenges and devise bespoke solutions. The unique nature of our work means that we require highly skilled engineers to work on our projectsin a safety critical environment.
**Role information**:

- Providing engineering solutions for heavy transport, specialist lifting and installation requirements.
- Producing risk assessments and method statements (RAMS), equipment lists, engineering design drawings, design calculations, rigging studies, operations programs, and specialist equipment requirements for both proposals and the execution of works whilstensuring the documentation complies with statutory regulations, customer and company procedures.
- We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, organised and detail focused, with the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
- You must have the aptitude for learning new techniques and procedures and enjoy solving customer engineering requests quickly with clearly defined solutions.
- Good communication skills and the ability to converse at all levels is key.
- This role can be based from either our Redditch or Stoke on Trent office. You will also be required to travel to site and spend short periods of time away from home.

**Experience & qualifications required**:

- A degree in Engineering
- AutoCAD 2D & 3D experienced
- Previous employment in an associated sector would be beneficial
