Role: After school club playworker

Location: Emsworth

Days: Monday to Friday

**Salary**: Up to £9.50 (aged 17+)

Hours: 3pm to 6pm (15 Hours - Potential to work more)

We are seeking playworkers (aged 17+) that enjoy working with children aged 4-11. You might have worked or currently work in a preschool; work as a teaching assistant; lucnhtime assistant or just have experience working with children through other means.

**Main duties include**:

- To work collaboratively with the Active8 Minds team onsite.
- To ensure all activities have been appropriately planned and all resources are available
- To ensure all children have fun and are engaged with the activities
- Ensure all activities are risk assessed and adhere to company policies and procedures
- Ensure children have access to regular refreshments and ensure that hygiene, health and safety standards are met.
- Administering first aid when necessary.
- Facilitating good communication with all members of the organisation, parents, schools and childcare and play related agencies.
- Undertaking appropriate and relevant training.
- Keeping the work environment healthy, safe and secure.
- Working within the framework of the club’s policies and procedures
