Ecommerce Executive

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Ecommerce Executive to join a dynamic, small-knit team based in Gateshead. Significant growth over the last three years has resulted in a new opportunity being created within the fast-paced Jewellery company, who are looking for a motivated and driven individual to assist with the ecommerce websites.

The role would be best suited to a technically minded individual who is a self-starter and able to manage their own workload with direction from the Ecommerce Director.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Take ownership of the product catalogue ensuring information is kept up to date, and new products are uploaded accurately and efficiently
- Working with the Marketing Team and using data to enhance product merchandising, search engine optimisation and on-site content.
- Support the Ecommerce Director by contributing to the overall ecommerce strategy and assisting with implementing new projects and initiatives.
- Increasing sales through Conversion Rate Optimisation and A/B Testing Acting upon and responding to service desk requests for product information changes and website issues.
- Identifying and resolving problems with the stores.
- Continuous testing of the websites to ensure a frictionless customer experience
- Regular auditing and maintenance of the stores to ensure high performance and conversion
- Analyse data from Google Analytics and 1st party sources to assist with decision-making and problem-solving
- Competitor research

**Key skills you'll need**:

- Previous experience managing an ecommerce website is essential including use of the ecommerce platform (Magento, Shopify, Bigcommerce, Aero commerce, Visualsoft, etc )
- An understanding of how on-site content affects Search Engine Optimisation.
- Great Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets skills
- Ability to analyse data and provide insightful recommendations
