Kenton Black Finance have partnered with an acquisitive and established business in the Hull area. Our Client have seen year on year growth over the last number of years and are continuing to forge new relationships to further strengthen their position in themarket.
They now seek to appoint a Credit Controller on a temporary (9 months), full time basis to join their already experienced team. So if you have at least 2 years experience in a similar role, and you're seeking a new challenge with a supportive and respectedbusiness, then please get in touch.
Your New Role as the Credit Controller:
As the Credit Controller you will report to the Credit Control Manager, carrying out the following duties:
- Taking a proactive role in collecting outstanding overdue monies of company debtors
- Ensuring customer balance queries are met effectively and efficiently
- Completing daily, weekly, and monthly tasks and duties including processing of direct debit payments
- Taking payments and recording all notes onto customer accounts
- Reviewing and analysing aged debt and making high volumes of calls to recover monies
- Identifying problem debt accounts and working for solutions
- New account evaluation and underwriting
- Actively promote and support credit control for all stakeholders.
Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:
To be considered for this position, you will have good IT skills, be able to work as part of a team, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have a good knowledge of financial procedures and practices. You will also have experience incollection of payments and debt management, whilst being able to process a large volume of purchase and sales invoices.

You will be offered the opportunity to work on a temporary basis for 9 months, which the possibility ofa permanent role at the end of your assignment.
