Our Client has openings for Kitchen Assistants for Full time - Days in **Chester CH2 **Looking for applicants with prior experience in Healthcare Sector. The home is rated **"Good" **in CQC ratings and is registered for a maximum of **102 Service Users.** **Job Details as Kitchen Assistant**: **Job Type**: Full-Time Location**:Chester CH2** **Salary**: £9.50 per hour Schedule: Full Time Days(7:30am - 7:30pm) **Responsibilities as Kitchen Assistant**: - Assist the Chef in the preparation of meals. - Undertaking preparation, plating and serving of meals to Residents, staff, and visitors as required. - Preparing and heating up breakfast items and serve as required. - Heating up or baking prepared supper food and serve as required. - Preparing sandwiches as required by the Chef. - Providing necessary crockery, cutlery, trays and serving utensils. - Ensuring that the trolleys are clean and well-presented before being transported to the floors for serving. - Thoroughly cleaning all serving trolleys after each meal. **Requirements as Kitchen Assistant**: - We provide our staff with the training required for the role, so no direct kitchen experience is required, although it is beneficial. - A background in Customer Service or a People Oriented Environment is desirable. - Individuals who can adapt well to working as a team and independently - Individuals who have good verbal and written communication - Evidence of having undertaken relevant training i.e. health & safety, food hygiene is not required, although it is beneficial. **Benefits as Kitchen Assistant**: - A pension scheme with an employer contribution**: - Free parking across all of our homes - 28 days’ annual leave - Optional overtime available - In-house reward scheme **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent **Salary**: £9.50 per hour **Benefits**: - Company pension - Discounted or free food - Free parking - Language training provided - On-site parking Schedule: - 12 hour shift - Day shift - Monday to Friday - Night shift Supplemental pay types: - Performance bonus Ability to commute/relocate: - Chester, CH2 3AD: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Experience**: - Kitchen Assistant: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: One location
