Applications are invited for an **Assistant Professor** within the School of Life Sciences, University of Nottingham.
This teaching focussed role will provide a consistently excellent standard of teaching and support for student learning, underpinned by scholarship related to the discipline. The postholder will undertake teaching responsibilities at all levels from year 1 Pharmacy and Science students through to Master’s level pharmacology. You will be experienced in a broad range of pharmacology and in particular Pharmacokinetics. You will also lead on developing the current curriculum and innovative approaches to learning and assessment and act as a personal tutor and supervise project students.
The appointee will extend a consistently excellent standard of teaching in our programmes and support student learning that is underpinned by scholarship; contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance and enhancement; undertake continuing professional development; and work in partnership with staff and students to maintain the highest standards in all areas of their work.
The School of Life Sciences is a large, diverse and supportive unit and provides a formal mentorship scheme and extensive collaborative opportunities.
