An incredible opportunity has become available for a Firmware Engineer to a global leader in the oil and gas industry. As the Firmware Engineer you will join a high functioning R&D team to take ownership of the product development lifecycle of state of the art tools.
**As the Firmware Engineer, your duties will include**:

- Working autonomously to design innovative product firmware that keeps products ahead of the competition.
- Collaborating with other members of R&D to encourage a streamlined design process.
- Ensuring new products interface well with the existing line of equipment.
- Rigorous testing of firmware and ensuring safe failure.

**As the Firmware Engineer, you will have the following key skills**:

- Embedded C programming
- Understanding of digital circuits
- 8 & 16-bit microcontrollers
- Use of testing equipment
- Algorithmic design
