**About The Role**:
As Head of Studio in a dynamic betting and gaming studio, you will play a pivotal role in leading an experienced team to design, develop, and release high-quality games to our widely-recognised brands. Your mission is to lead a cross-functional team, ensuring the seamless integration of mathematicians, artists, producers, graphic designers, QA specialists, and software developers, through design and pre-production to client development, QA testing and release.
This multifaceted role requires a leader with a proven track record in game development, a strategic mindset, and the ability to shape and deliver a compelling content strategy.

**What you will do**
- Lead and manage a cross-functional, multidisciplinary team which includes game producers, programmers, artists, and QA testers.
- Oversee the day-to-day design and development of casino games, overseeing the entire production cycle from pre-production to QA testing and release.
- Provide excellent leadership, ensuring the team is aligned with company goals and delivering high-quality games on schedule.
- Contribute valuable insights into the creative aspects of game development, leveraging a solid understanding of game design principles for overall project innovation and excellence
- Work closely with the Director of In-House Content to design, drive and deliver the content strategy
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to expand into new markets, increasing reach and potential.
- Foster a collaborative culture that encourages continuous improvement, empowering managers with clarity on roles and functions to prioritise great game design and superior development processes
**Who you are**
- Proven track record of successful leadership in a similar role within the betting and gaming industry.
- Extensive experience overseeing the development of slot games or similar products.
- Hands-on experience in game design or a strong appreciation for game design principles, enhancing the overall creative input into the development process
- Strong understanding of game design principles, mechanics, and player psychology.
- Familiarity with software development processes, including waterfall or similar methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and creative environment.
- Proven an understanding of global gaming markets, adapting strategies to regional preferences and navigating diverse regulatory landscapes.
- A forward-thinking mindset with a passion for staying at the forefront of industry trends and technological advancements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements within the betting and gaming industry.
