**Darent Valley Hospital** **Permanent - Full Time** **Competitive Salary + Excellent Corporate Benefits Package** Serco is recruiting a Project Lifecycle manager to be part of the senior leadership team for the Hard FM services we deliver at Darent Valley Hospital.Apart from being experienced in the health and built environment, the Project Lifecycle Manager shouldalso be a passionate leader and a commercially-minded professional who will have a knowledge of industry best practices. As leaders it is imperative that you promote a culture of teamwork, collaboration and success. The Project Lifecycle Manager’s job description,including their routine daily duties comprises: - Lead the Serco Project team - Build and manage the Life Cycle Programme in line with requirement of the Contract - Delivery of Building Condition and Asset Verification and condition survey programme - Developing valuation and cost profiles in accordance with the contract and Life Cycle Process - Lead the day-to-day operational aspect of the Life Cycle Programme. - Providing programme management responsibilities for all aspects of Life Cycle projects from the design stage through to completion (handover to the client) including all financial related activity. - Understanding of Cost / Value principals - Working knowledge of CDM regulations - Submitting progress reports to stakeholders and senior managers. - Drafting and managing a schedule of contractual key obligations - Setting the standards, methodology and process to be used in a project. - Creating a working environment that allows everyone to work to the best of their abilities. - Lead the development and standard issue of project scope and specification. - Accountable for the Lifecycle budgets. - Communicating with stakeholders to clarify the desired outcome of a project. - Ensuring that all relevant processes are followed on projects. - Administering the allocation of jobs and budgets on a project. Determining Life Cycle plan objectives - Engagement and direction of project personnel to achieve project objectives. - Managing client expectations. - Identifying project risks. - Negotiating with suppliers and sub-contractors. - Undertake fee tendering for the appointment of external consultants/contractors in line with agreed protocols. - Ensuring that the highest quality standards are met. Our clients require professional management of their lifecycle projects, providing assurance of compliance and delivery of operational excellence. Your professionalism, financial acumen and desire to succeed will ensure you can deliver on accountabilitiesincluding: - Project and Life Cycle Management in relation to a PFI, ideally in a Health setting. - Experience of delivering project success in the built/construction environment. - Understanding and awareness of CDM. - Financial accountability of P&L, WIP, client invoicing. - Thorough and demonstrable knowledge of Project Management principles, documents and plans. - Good facilitation and analytical skills. Ability to deliver results on time, on budget, and to the very highest standards.
