**Treasury Analyst**

Based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire our national client is looking for a Treasury Analyst to join them on a permanent basis.

This job would suit someone with previous treasury/cash management experience.

This company is well known in their industry and offers an exciting role within a business that is going through a very exciting time.

This position will be supporting treasury/cash management functions in the UK office. Support the business' entities in Europe, ensuring sufficient funds to cover daily working capital requirements and long-term growth initiatives.

Job responsibilities:

- Set up of new suppliers into accounting system
- Verification of supplier banking details
- Set up of banking details in accounting system and banking portal.
- Prepare payment runs for upload to the banking system
- Setting up payments to suppliers in the bank and the accounting system.
- Providing payment confirmation and dealing with payment queries.
- Process and pay supplier advances in accounting system and bank.
- Monitors daily cash flows impacting cash-forecasting models for European subsidiaries.
- Prepares daily consolidated European cash position
- Monitors cash levels in different currency accounts
- Processing of accounting entries for inter account transfers, and non-Accounts Payable payments. Process receipts in Accounts Receivable.
- Ensures and applies adequate controls to ensure resources are safeguarded properly.
- Ensures timely communications and processing,
- Coordinates to resolve payment/banking issues,
- Responds timely to all inquiries and requirements
- Audit Support
