Transport Administrator

Logistics Support Network are currently recruiting for a Transport Administrator for our client in Crick, Northamptonshire. This role is on a temp to perm basis.
The main roles of Transport Administrator will include:
- Supporting the site with their transport operation
- Communicating with drivers and assisting with queries
- Assisting with transport administrative duties - paperwork, keeping TMS up to date, some assistance with compliance (licence checks, taking licence copies)
- Recording driver hours for payroll
- Assisting with de-briefs
- Full & thorough induction is provided by the client
The role offers a pay rate of the following, during the temporary period:
- £12.09ph (first 40 hours)
- £18.13ph (after 40 hours)
This role is working an ongoing 1400 -2200 shift. Overtime may also be available at times.
The Transport Administrator is required to have the following:
- Be able to plan and organise their work schedule
- Be calm, level-headed, and be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Be able to make decisions and react quickly when problems arise
- Have good spoken and written communication skills.
- Good P.C skills, including Word and Excel
- Interpersonal and Communication skills
- Previous experience in administration, ideally within a transport office setting.
